Executive Function Coaching with Alia
Helping students get organized, stay motivated, and feel confident — with warmth, strategy, and a sense of joy.
Whether your student is struggling to keep up with assignments, manage their time, or just get started, executive function challenges can make school feel overwhelming. That’s where I come in.
I’m Alia — a long-time educator, college instructor, and executive-function coach with a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Teachers College, Columbia University. I bring over a decade of experience helping students build real, lasting skills — all in a space that’s supportive, nonjudgmental, and yes, even joyful.
What I Help With:
✅ Time management and planning
✅ Organization and systems that actually work
✅ Task initiation and follow-through
✅ Study skills and academic confidence
✅ Navigating school transitions (middle school, high school, college)
✅ Managing overwhelm and building self-advocacy
What Working with Me Feels Like:
Coaching with me is a mix of practical tools, honest conversations, and lightness — even when the work feels heavy. I meet students where they are, help them see what’s possible, and stick with them as they get there.
I bring structure when things feel chaotic. Empathy when things feel frustrating. And joy when students reconnect with their own momentum.
Let’s chat to see if working together would be a good fit.
